About Jerry

Jerry, a long time resident of Windsor Heights currently serves as the city’s mayor. He has used 38 years of business experience to improve many aspects of the community. Most notably, he has been involved with projects to renovate Colby Park and develop new commercial properties along University Avenue and Hickman Road. The citizens of Windsor Heights have taken notice of the updates. In fact, a recent community satisfaction survey showed 99 percent of respondents "overall were satisfied with the quality of life" offered by the city of Windsor Heights. Of those 99 percent, 89 percent said overall city services and quality of life were "above average."


Prior to being elected mayor, Jerry was a member of the Windsor Heights City Council and served as a Vice Chair of the Metro Waste Authority Board of Directors. He is also a board member of the Metro Planning Organization and the Convention & Visitors Bureau. A former small business owner, he formed the first chamber of commerce in Windsor Heights.


Jerry and his wife, Christy, have been married for 35 years and have three children and two grandchildren. He served in the US Army Reserves and is currently a Senior Financial Representative at Principal Financial Group. He is also a member of the Windsor Heights Lions Club and St. Theresa’s Church.
